Digital Grid Brings Automation, Data Intelligence and New Energy Management Solutions to Intersolar 2026

With more than 400 MW under management and operations across 24 Brazilian states, the startup is preparing new launches for the trade show and betting on technology to address one of the key challenges created by the expansion of distributed generation: transforming an increasingly complex operation into a scalable, automated and financially efficient business.

The expansion of distributed generation in Brazil has created opportunities for thousands of new renewable energy projects, but it has also introduced a challenge that grows as the market scales: how can thousands of consumer units, energy credits, invoices, collections, payments and data from utilities be managed efficiently?

This is precisely where technology is beginning to play an increasingly strategic role.

Focused on the digitalization of Distributed Generation (DG) power plant management, Digital Grid will participate in The smarter E South America / Intersolar South America 2026, taking place from August 25 to 27 in São Paulo, where it will present its vision for the future of industry operations and unveil new capabilities for its platform.

The company develops a SaaS energy management platform for DG power plants, combining financial automation, data intelligence and tools designed to streamline the relationship between renewable energy generators and end consumers.

According to data provided by the company to EnergyChannel, Digital Grid already operates across 24 Brazilian states, serves more than 60,000 consumer units, has processed over 1 million invoices, and manages more than 400 MW of installed capacity.

These figures help illustrate a transformation taking place behind the scenes in distributed generation: as customer portfolios grow, processes that could once be handled manually increasingly require systems capable of integrating energy, financial and commercial data.

From Energy Generation to Financial Management

Digital Grid's proposition is to bring different stages of this operation together within a single technological environment.

The process begins with measuring the energy generated and defining how energy credits are allocated among consumer units. Automated systems then retrieve electricity bills directly from utility portals, process the information and convert the documents into structured data.

The platform also monitors energy credits, generates white-label invoices, integrates with banking systems, issues payment slips and PIX QR Codes, and tracks payments and financial reconciliation.

Another important component is the management of delinquency and consumer units, providing DG operators with greater visibility into the energy and financial performance of their portfolios.

In practice, the objective is to bring to distributed generation a technological layer similar to those already found in other industries that have undergone rapid digitalization.

New Solutions to Be Unveiled at Intersolar

Digital Grid will also use its participation at Intersolar 2026 to introduce new capabilities for its platform.

Among the planned launches is a new CRM solution, designed to expand commercial management capabilities and improve the customer experience.

The company is also preparing Conversational Analytics, a suite of reports and analytical tools designed to enhance users' ability to interpret the information generated by their operations.

These developments are part of a broader technology expansion strategy that also includes investments in artificial intelligence.

AI Applied to One of DG's Most Critical Challenges

One of the projects currently under development is the company's Intelligent Allocation Engine, a technology that uses predictive artificial intelligence to automate the management and allocation of energy credits from distributed generation plants.

The project received BRL 2.1 million in funding after Digital Grid was selected through the “Deep Tech – Market Entry and Commercial Traction” public call organized by the Minas Gerais State Research Support Foundation (Fapemig).

The technology is designed to increase the accuracy of energy credit allocation, reducing operational and regulatory errors while helping protect the cash flow of energy assets.

The issue becomes particularly relevant in a market where small allocation inconsistencies, when multiplied across thousands of consumer units, can result in significant financial impacts for generators and investors.

Brazilian Technology Gains International Recognition

Digital Grid's trajectory also gained international recognition in 2025.

The company was one of the winners of the SolarX Startup Challenge 2025 – Caribbean and Latin America Edition, an initiative promoted by the International Solar Alliance (ISA).

The competition received 113 applications from 29 countries, with Digital Grid recognized among the ten most innovative solar startups in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The announcement was made during COP30, held in Belém in November, and the recognition provided the company with financial support and participation in an acceleration program organized by the international institution.

Beyond Software: Training and Connecting the Market

Another initiative Digital Grid plans to present to the industry is Hub DG, created in 2026 to provide professional training, executive education and knowledge exchange among distributed generation professionals.

The initiative has already held meetings in Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis, bringing together executives, legal experts, back-office professionals and industry companies to discuss topics such as regulation, Brazil's Law No. 14,300, compliance, consumer unit management, operational efficiency and automation.

The initiative highlights an important reality: the technological transformation of distributed generation does not depend on software alone. It also requires professional development, regulatory expertise and greater integration among the different players across the market.

The Next Chapter Begins at Intersolar

As Brazil's distributed generation market enters a more mature phase, operational efficiency, financial predictability and the ability to manage large portfolios are becoming increasingly important topics across the industry.

It is against this backdrop that Digital Grid arrives at Intersolar South America 2026.

During the trade show, EnergyChannel will provide special coverage of Digital Grid's participation, following its product launches and speaking with company executives about technology, artificial intelligence, financial management and the next steps in the digitalization of Brazil's distributed generation market.
